finally got back all my degree assignments and i'm so so happy to say that i've completed my degree!!! :D

wanna praise and thank God for the unexpected fatastic result i got for my last assignment of my degree! this was the 3500 word essay that i was cracking my brains what to write about. i was unsure my assignment made sense when i submitted it. so i was expecting to fail or either get a pass grade, but i got a HD instead! i thank God for that! Jesus gets all the glory! where would i be if it weren't for God watching me the whole time.. i thank you Jesus!

the girls went shopping today, and the boys - matthew and clara's bf went to watch dark knight. but it was practically mummy's shopping day because we didn't get anything, but mummy got what she wanted.. so while waiting for mummy to try her clothes, etc, we decided to take some photos.. haha

the lyrics speaks so much. so much. so much. there's still so much to learn and grow into.

and especially after hearing the testimony of the lady, i totally salute her! she's truly truly a testimony of a woman of faith of the almighty God!

in a nutshell, even though she lost her baby just 1.5 wks before the recording of the album, she still went on stage to lead the congregation to worship. only a person who believes that God is in control no matter how bad the circumstance may be to them, could have the courage and energy to do what she needed to do on the night of the album recording.

the song just sums up everything that i've been learning on sunday. we don't praise God only when we feel like it. we praise Him even when we don't feel like it. it's hard at first, but if we persevere, breakthroughs will come! i've experienced it for myself. through ups and downs, God is still God, watching over me in every season.

we also have to position ourselves to look at things from God's perspective. God is still God and He will not change.
like how people and building will look small and smaller as the aeroplane flies higher and higher into the sky, our problems will look smaller and smaller as we "fly" higher and higher to seeing things from God's perspective. because as we fix our eyes on God, we forget about the problem because our God is bigger than our problem.

where would we be without the grace of God? God is just so merciful, gracious and ever loving me for me.. it was because of God's love that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that we can have this relationship with Jesus.


met up with sanney and esther today.. sanney was back like since friday, but i only managed to see her till today! it was really short, but still thankful that i got to spend quality time with her. :))
did so much catching up with both sanney and esther and I realised one thing. so far, this year has been a year of transition. last year was great. but things are going to get even better this year. God's challenging each of us to a higher level, pushing us out of our comfort zone to live for Him. He wants us to keep growing stronger in Him and not stay stagnant at where we're comfortable at.. though changes are not something we like, but at the end of the road, we know that it'll be something incredible that we wouldn't exchange anything for it.

though the doctor said her condition wasn't optimistic at first and a surgery might be involved, BUT, my GOD is is is a HEALER!

life is never fair, but God gives each one of us a chance to BELIEVE! whose report were we going to believe?

we chose to believe that our God is a supernatural God that will intervene in her condition, and a miracle took place and she's on her way to speedy recovery! she looks so much better than the past few days! can't wait for her to be home! :D

finally we get to eat at giraffe. it was our long awaited date to eat at this restaurant since dunno when.. all of us were first timers except miss grace who went to eat without us. haa

it was an awesome time of fellowship and bonding during our outing last week! (: we went to eat steamboat at bugis. food wise was pretty okay only, not a wide variety of food. thought the marina one was better? haa. but at least we got almost the whole place to ourselves cos it was quite empty.

after that we headed down to minds cafe. it was my first time there.. quite a nice place to play games, but a bit costly? aniwaes, it was FUN! :D so we played taboo and jenga. taboo was the singaporean version and it's not as easy as it seems.. lol. and i haven played jenga for like so long. we were or rather i was like reliving my childhood days.. haha

i was like hey! are we that bad drivers on the road?!!!! haha. talking of which, i haven driven a car for like so long!!! except like on daytona, which so isn't counted.. lol. i want a car! actually, change that to, i want someone to fetch me around.. hehe

i was like??!!!! woman thinking too much? actually, it really depends on the situation. sometimes thinking too much into things are good, but sometimes we must know how to let it go.. there must be a balance i guess.

and becos woman are being unreasonable, so the guys don't listen? why does it always seem like it's the girls who are unreasonable and not the guys? guys and their ego?

this is so true.. haha. whenever there are guys in the group, we girls have to listen to their choice of movie becos the guys will never watch a chick flick movie unless they're forced to. haha
