it was such an exciting day yesterday. one of my aunt got married. we had to wake up before sunrise around 5 plus because we had to be at her house at 7. matthew was the main person involved because he had to open the groom's car door when the groom would come to pick the bride up. the bride was so pppprrreeeeetttyyyyy! and her dog got dressed up too. so cute!
it was hilarious seeing the groom and his buddies trying to complete the 'tests' at the gate as fast as they could before entering the house. the first test was for his buddies to eat tomatoes. it seemed easy. but to their surprise, each tomatoes had different fillings inside. one was wasabei, green chilli, sour plum, don't know wad's in the other two tomatoes. the second test was to name 5 reasons why he chose the bride. this was pretty simple. then next was the giving of red packets to the ladies at the gate before he could enter the house. and the final test after entering the house was to write 10 commandments what he will do with the bride. the commandments he laid out were so funny. but out of the 10, half of the commandments had something to do with housework. LOL. and finally he got to see the bride.
then there was the tea ceremony and lunch. and we departed till we meet again at night.
the solemnization and dinner was at C.H.I.J.M.E.S. since we were there early and the solemization got delayed, we ended up taking many many pictures. it was such a nice environment. and the ambience was lovely too! whaha!
everthing was simply magnigicent! =)
