the most hilarious thing that happened today. i'm being sacastic here. LOL. when i got my timetable today, i saw 'ML' on my timetable. was wondering what period was that. then i asked the teacher i/c. she said, "for this period, go to the malay room to relief the malay teacher." therefore, ML = malay language. and i was thinking, i'm a CHINESE not a malay. but anyway, luckily, their malay teacher did set work for them, or else i really wouldn't know what to do for that 1 hr. we'll play a the you stare at me and i stare at you game. LOL.

when i stepped into the malay class, a boy asked, "teacher, are you malay?" so obviously i answered "no, i'm not malay." haha.

then while everyone was doing their assigned work, one boy came up to me asking me a question. he couldn't tell the object that was being drawn in his question paper. so i told him the answer in english. then he said, "teacher, you know how to write the answer in malay?" erm, no. i don't know malay. oh my goodness! did i tell you that i can't read malay?? i was practically in a foreign land for that one hour. everything in the room and the plaque cards that were on the wall were written in malay. i so couldn't understand anyone of them. oh wells.

supposedly had an hr break just before dismissal time, but ended up printing the past CA papers for the kids for their holiday hw before the teacher forgot to print them. oh my! there were tons of pages. ok lar. not tons. 20 pages. took me like 45 mins to finish printing them and then stapling them into sets. it was really last min. good thing i managed to give them just before they split into their bus groups at the hall. phew!

what a busy day! haha.
